In 1925, Clarin revolutionized the market by introducing the first all-steel folding chair in the U.S., setting the "industry standard" for comfort, performance, and value.
In February 2022, Spec Seats proudly brought Clarin back home, reuniting the brand with its original pioneers.

The Clarin Aquisition
In February 2022, Spec Seats acquired Clarin Seating.
The Spec Seats family were the original owners of Clarin in the 1920s and after Clarin was sold multiple times, Spec Seats was thrilled to welcome Clarin back into their family.
